Covers chapter 18:1-24. The Coming Meltdown of the World System. In the Bible, Babylon is more than just a city, and more than just the apostate religious system of this world... it speaks of the of the way of the 'world system' works. In this chapter we see just how the economic system of this world is driven by Babylonish influence which has been around since the time of Babel. But we see how God will draw it all to a God-glorifying conclusion as in only one hour, the entire demonic economic/commercial system of the Antichrist is brought to nothing. Though the world will mourn over the fall of Babylon, God's people will rejoice because Christ will finally usher in a true reign of righteousness that the heart of every believer longs for.

The message rings loud and clear that God's people are to "Come out of her so that you will not share in her sins". God's speaks very clearly that though we live in this world, yet we are not to be of this world. The unpopular message of separation and holiness unto Jesus Christ ought to ring loud and clearly through Christian churches rather than a feel-good message. The question that we all ought to ask ourselves is: Is my life any different from that of the nice, honest but lost man? It ought to be.
